Welcome !

Welcome to my blog. I've created this page so that my friends and family can keep track of my back-to-school progress. I will soon be 40 years old and I have just started an MSc in Financial Economics at CeFiMS (Centre for Financial and Management Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies), University of London, and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics at the Open University. Both degrees are modular and distance learning. Courses for the OU run from Jan to Sep with exams in Oct and I am taking 3 courses this year (broadly equivalent to the whole first year in a regular 3 year BSc degree). The MSc has intensive 2-month courses with exams in Oct and I intend to take 2 or 3 MSc courses this year, of which I am starting one now.
